Noble County Community Development Strategic Planning Session Offered

The Ohio State University Extension Noble County is hosting a community development input session April 4, 2019, at the conference room in the multi-county agency building in Caldwell (46049 Marietta Rd.) from 5-6:30 p.m. The session will be led by Gwynn Stewart, M.S., Community Development Educator with OSU Extension Noble County and Marty Hohenberger, Economic Development project manager with the Strategic Planning team from Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs.

Building off of the great work completed by Noble Endeavors, the Noble County strategic planning review has been underway for several months. Partners from Ohio University will present the economic development scan and trends from recent key stakeholder interviews. The forum is an opportunity for the public to provide input to help shape economic and community development efforts.

Ohio University serves as the region’s University Center program for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA). The Noble planning program services are valued at more than $20,000 and are provided through an EDA grant program at no-cost to Noble County.

The program is free and open to the public. RSVPs are appreciated by calling Gwynn Stewart at 740-732-5681 or via email at stewart.1818@osu.edu.
