The USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) was established to fill the gap when children lose access to meals when schools are closed. Most often this occurs during summer vacation. However, during school closures related to the pandemic, meals are also being made available. You have the opportunity to supplement the food you have at home with meals and snacks for your children from local schools and community organizations.

Remaining Social Through Social Distancing
Over the past week the world has become a different place. Depending on who you choose to talk to, what you read, and where you live, the magnitude of the messaging you receive about how we as a society should be responding to concerns with the outbreak of COVID-19 varies. With advice dished out from the most reliable sources of public health information we have suggesting social distancing at this point in time, it certainly sounds like a legitimate precaution through the eyes of The Ohio State University.

By Gwynn Stewart, Community Development Educator – Ohio State University Extension: Noble County
One day around the Extension office lunch table, my co-workers and I were discussing our experiences in 4-H and FFA.
