Beef producers planning to renew their Beef Quality Assurance Certification will have the opportunity to attend an in-person recertification class offered at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Caldwell Extension Operations Building. Noble County producers that are due for recertification will be notified by mail soon. This class is for producers who initially completed certification in 2018 and are due for recertification in 2021. Pre-registration is required. No walk ins. Please call 740-732-5681 to sign up for the class.

The Noble County Planning Commission, in partnership with Ohio State Extension – Noble County, Community Development and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, is developing an action plan to improve the availability, affordability and quality of housing in Noble County. We would like your responses to a survey that will inform two upcoming strategic planning sessions to create a vision and action plan for future housing development in Noble County.

The Ohio State University Extension Noble County Office provided members of the Noble County Extension Advisory Council a semi-annual update in December. Noble County Extension celebrated 100 years in 2020! Program updates included reports from the Agriculture & Natural Resources Educator, Christine Gelley, M.S.; Community Development Educator, Gwynn Stewart, M.S.; 4-H Educators Nancy Snook and Samantha Schott; Family and Consumer Sciences Educator Samantha Schott and SNAP Ed Program Assistant, Lori Harris.

Ohio State University Extension Community Development to Host Historic Tax Credits Virtual Lunch & Learn Feb. 4
Now that the Caldwell Downtown Historic District is official, property owners and community leaders should join us to learn more about the Historic Tax Credit programs during a virtual lunch and learn Feb 4.
Hosted by Ohio State University Extension Noble County Community Development, the Virtual Lunch and Learn is free and will be Feb. 4 from Noon – 1 p.m. via Zoom.
