With warmer weather and plenty of pollen sources available now, our pollinators are out and active. Swarming activity will be on the rise. Swarms form when a colony divides and the queen bee decides to leave an established colony to find a new location. Worker bees will follow the queen and tend to be seen in clusters on tree limbs and bushes before finding a cavity to build a new hive.

Noble County Community Development Strategic Planning Session Offered
The Ohio State University Extension Noble County is hosting a community development input session April 4, 2019, at the conference room in the multi-county agency building in Caldwell (46049 Marietta Rd.) from 5-6:30 p.m. The session will be led by Gwynn Stewart, M.S., Community Development Educator with OSU Extension Noble County and Marty Hohenberger, Economic Development project manager with the Strategic Planning team from Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs.
