Sami is a native of Noble County, Ohio. She attended Bethany College, WV, where she completed her BA in Communications and Media Arts in 2016. Where she was hired as the 4-H Youth Development and Family and Consumer Sciences Program Coordinator in May of 2016 and transitioned to an Educator in 2018. While working, she completed her MS in Agriculture and Extension Education in June of 2020.
Sami shares her time between two program areas with 4-H Youth Development and Family and Consumer Sciences. Alongside the other 4-H Educator, Nancy Snook, Sami oversees Junior Fairboard, Noble County 4-H Camp, and 4honline registrations, while collaborating on many other events and activities. Within Family and Consumer Sciences, Sami focuses on providing programs that suit the people of Noble County. Some of these programs include ServSafe, Pressure Canner Lid Testing, Basic Money Management, and a Venison Workshop.
Sami also received the Multicultural & Diversity Team Award from Ohio JCEP which went on to receive win the National ESP Diversity Multicultural Team Award.
