Quality Assurance Training is still mandatory for 2020 for all youth taking market and breeding livestock and including rabbits and poultry in order to be eligible to participate in junior fair events, shows and sales at the fairs. Parents are encouraged to attend the training with their child.
The Ohio Department of Agriculture has given permission to OSU Extension to teach QA using a virtual platform such as Zoom for 2020 only.
Each session will hold a maximum of 40 participants. Must have computer or cell phone with good connection. Please sign-up at least 24 hrs. before scheduled session.

Attendance will be taken throughout the training session. If someone doesn’t attend the full training, the training will have to be repeated.
Face to face sessions will also be held after July 6 for members that are not able to attend a virtual training due to limited or no internet access. These dates will be announced later.

Can be done on phones and PC. To join us on the zoom – you will first need to download Zoom either on your computer – www.zoom.us/download or download the Zoom App on your smart phone.
Steps to attend a Zoom meeting on a computer
b. You will need to allow your computer some time to download Zoom – So sign in before 6:30 PM
c. Enter the meeting ID if necessary
d. Allow access to Camera & Sound
e. Your controls are at the bottom for microphone and camera

2. Steps to attend a Zoom meeting on a mobile phone
a. Open App Store and download Zoom App
b. Open App, sign-up, enter email address, first name, and last name, email will be sent, verify account, initial setup complete
c. Make sure Zoom App is downloaded and ready
d. Click on the QA invitation line that was sent – Sign in 10 minutes before start time.
e. Enter the meeting ID if necessary
f. Allow access to Camera & Sound
There will be polling during the Zoom, so if more than one youth is watching from one device – just take turns sharing. We will probably Mute you all after attendance is taken. Then you can use chat box or raise hand feature to ask questions. Sami Schott will be on to monitor chat box and take attendance.
