Quality Assurance Trainings:
Youth that are exhibiting MARKET OR BREEDING LIVESTOCK (INCLUDING RABBITS & POULTRY) at the Noble County Jr. Fair are required to attend a Quality Assurance Training. Scheduled face-to-face trainings are:

QA Certification must be completed at least 45 days prior to the start of exhibition. This includes youth exhibiting at the Ohio State Fair. If exhibition at the Ohio State Fair is before their county fair, youth must have completed that training at least 45 days prior to exhibition at the Ohio State Fair. Final dates to complete QA Training or Test-out:
Noble County Fair—July 17, 2026
Ohio State Fair—June 14, 2026
ONLINE QUALITY ASSURANCE TRAINING
Youth can participate in the online QA, ANYTIME with Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) web-based certification. This opportunity is available to youth at a cost of $12 per participant and can be taken whenever you are able to access the internet. Website is https://yqcaprogram.org/
Youth must participate in the training module based on their current 4-H age (age as of 1/1/2025). Each training module contains three sections and a quiz for each section must be passed to receive certification. If a youth fails a quiz, they can wait and retake the section.
Youth who successfully complete the entire certification must email the certificate in pdf format to hull.388@osu.edu for verification purposes. Youth are strongly encouraged to print or save the pdf certificate for proof of participation.
