Food Safety Trainings
Ohio State University Extension Family and Consumer Sciences professionals offer a variety of food safety programming thoughtout the state. The manner in which people handle and prepare food is a major reason why foodbourne illness occurs. People must alter their food handling behavior, but they must first have the knowledge and skills that are known to protect food from contamination with pathogens before they have the capacity to change their behavior. 

ServSafe - Manager's Course & Person-In-Charge (PIC) Trainings
Manager's Course & Exam Class Dates:

  • July 15, 16, 18, 2024
  • October 7, 14, 21, 2024

Person-In-Charge:
**Call to schedule your Person-In-Charge training. Class may be brought to your location for a more hands on class**

Online Manager's Course:
**Class may be taken online, exam will need to be proctored in-person at the Noble County OSU Extension Office. Please contact Sami Hull for more information**

ServSafe Recertification (review materials & exam):
**Call to schedule your proctored exam. Certificate cannot be expired to recertify**
